Part-Time Experienced Machine and Tooling Maintenance Specialist (Millwright) for 100+ Year Old Product Company in Walled Lake, MI (Contractor 1099 position, flexible hours)

Description:

*  At least 8 years of experience in maintenance activities in industrial environment.
*  Completed Maintenance Journeyman or equivalent program or technical specialization.
*  Experienced in Preventive and Corrective maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
*  Be able to read equipment schematics, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
*  Responsibilities includes Production and Facility equipment, which includes the following types of equipment:
*  Production equipment: Presses, CNC, Washers, Conveyors, Robots, Welding equipment
*  Facility equipment: HVAC, Chillers, Heating systems, Control panels, energy distribution panels, lighting systems.
*  Experience with control systems, including PLC, Drives, Interlocks, Automation, etc.
*  Able to perform activities following verbal instructions or following written procedures (Work Orders / Job Element Sheets / Standard Work Chart / etc.)
*  Able to perform assigned work in full and in a safe manner following company and customer standards and requirements and achieve high internal/external customer expectations.
*  Report to leadership anomalies, unsafe conditions or behaviors, incidents, accidents, and work completion through documented standard operations updates.
*  Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities.
*  Suggest improvements to Maintenance programs and work standards.
*  Lead Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving initiatives.

Description:

*  40 Hour Work Weeks
